Hertha Bolster Third Place In Bundesliga
Hertha 2-1 Ingolstadt
Hertha consolidated third position in the Bundesliga standings with a 2-1 win over Ingolstadt on Saturday.
Genki Haraguchi broke the deadlock in the 54th minute before Salomon Kalou (69') doubled the hosts' lead. Lukas Hinterseer reduced the gap in the 75th minute but the hosts held on for the win.
Hamburg 1-3 Hoffenheim
Andrej Kramaric opened the scoring for the visitors in the 20th minute before Kevin Volland doubled the advantage three minutes later.
Aaron Hunt (30') gave the hosts hope by pulling a goal back but Edu Vargas (67') secured the win for Hoffenheim.
Wolfsburg 1-1 Darmstadt
The visitors scored eight minutes before the end via Sandro Wagner but Andre Schurrle produced a stoppage-time equaliser to salvage a point for Wolfsburg.
Werder Bremen 1-1 Mainz
Julian Baumgartlinger put the visitors in the lead just before the break, but in first-half stoppage time Claudio Pizarro bagged the equaliser.
Eintracht Frankfurt 1-0 Hannover
A lone strike from Anis Ben-Hatira (33') was enough to clinch all three points for the home side.
