Dortmund Out-Class Hamburg To Close Gap
Dortmund 3-0 Hamburg
Dortmund moved to within seven points of Bayern Munich on Sunday with a 3-0 win over Hamburg in the Bundesliga.
A swift double salvo before the half-time break gave the hosts a two-goal cushion. Christian Pulisic (38') broke the deadlock and Adrian Ramos (44') made it 2-0.
Hamburg's hopes of mounting a comeback took a hefty blow just after the break as their goalkeeper was sent off for bringing down Shinji Kagawa outside the box.
Ramos capped off the comfortable win by completing his brace in the 86th minute.
Mainz 2-3 Koln
The visitors edged out Mainz by a single goal after an exciting tie which saw five goals.
Jhon Cordoba drew first blood for the home team in the eighth minute before they seemed to be in control with a second goal in the 49th minute.
However, the comeback was underway just past the hour mark as Marcel Risse made it 2-1.
Milos Jojic (74') then levelled matters for Koln before a dramatic 83rd-minute winner from Anthony Modeste.
