Muller Nets Winner For Bayern

Bayern Munich's flawless start to the Bundesliga season continued on Saturday as they beat Werder Bremen 1-0.
Die Roten created their first real chance of the game in the 22nd minute when a deep cross from Thomas Muller found Robert Lewandowski unmarked at the far post, but his header found the side netting.
Only a minute after that chance the hosts took the lead. Thiago provided the assist with a wonderful pass that picked out Muller who slipped through the defence and tapped the ball into the back of the net.
Bayern continued to dominate the possession stakes throughout the first half and were always in control of proceedings, but they struggled to create chances.
Just after the break the visitors looked good when they attacked down the wings and produced an opportunity for Lewandowski, buy his free header was straight at the goalkeeper.
Werder conjured up a good chance with 15 minutes to go. A deft backheel from Oztunali helped Ujah get through to have a shot at goal, but his attempt went well wide.
