Bayern Munich stuck twice in second-half stoppage time to claim  5-4 win over RB Leipzig at the Red Bull Arena.

The Bulls had a dream start as they snatched the lead in the second minute of the match through Marcel Sabitzer's close range header.

After constant pressure from Carlo Ancelotti's boys in the 17th minute they were rewarded with a penalty. Bernardo Silva was adjudged to have handled the ball inside the box and a spot-kick was awarded. Robert Lewandowski stepped up and leveled matters.

In the 29th minute Leipzig got a penalty of their own as Emil Forsberg was tripped by Xabi Alonso  Timo Werner converted the spot-kick to restore their lead.

On the hour-mark Thiago Alcantara reduced the deficit for Ancelotti's boys making it 3-2 from a tight finish following a short corner.

With two minutes remaining in regular time, Lewandowski hit home from close range to make it 4-3 and setup a tense final few minutes plus stoppage time.

In the first minute of stoppage time David Alaba bent a stunning free-kick from 25 yards to complete the comeback for the Bavarians, making it 4-4.
