Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal has revealed that he would love the opportunity to play alongside one of his international teammates at the Bundesliga club.
The 28-year-old has admitted that he would like to link up with Arsenal superstar Alexis Sanchez at the Bavarian club. The players know each other well from international duty with Chile, and the former FC Barcelona winger has been linked with a move to Germany in the past few weeks.
It is believed that incoming Bayern coach Carlo Ancelotti is a big fan of Sanchez, and Vidal has now put his stamp of approval on a potential transfer.
"We've played together since the U20 international team, so it would be nice to play with him," Vidal said, as quoted by The Times.
Bayern are closing in on the Bundesliga title, and, according to the Chilean, they are targeting a potential treble this season.
"The team is winning and is going really well," Vidal added.
"The Bundesliga is our top priority and we'll be focused on Saturday to secure the title.
"But the triple is what we want and is our goal," he added.
Sanchez has scored 39 goals in 88 appearances since joining the Gunners from Barcelona in 2014.
