UEFA Nations League
Teams: Germany vs France
Date: 6 September 2018
Venue: Allianz Arena
TIme: 20:45
The hosts enter the game on the back of a horrendous World Cup tournament in Russia, which saw them being eliminated at the group stage.
Overall, Germany have won only two of their past nine games, losing four of their past six fixtures after previously going more than a year and a half without a defeat.
France, meanwhile, enter the game as the newly-crowned world champions and will be full of confidence following their strong showing in Russia.
Les Bleus have lost only one game since June 2017, and are unbeaten in their past 11 matches.
The two teams have met 14 times in the past, with France winning seven times while Germany ended up victorious on just four occasions, and three games ended in a draw.
This fixture is the first in Group 1 of League A in the new UEFA Nations League, and the two sides have been drawn alongside the Netherlands.
