The Bundesliga leaders announced on Wednesday that captain Manuel Neuer had extended his contract until 2023.
The goalkeeper became the latest star to put pen to paper on a new deal, with Thomas Muller and Alphonso Davies recently signing extensions too.
"FC Bayern are very happy Manuel has extended his contract until 30 June 2023," CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told the club's official website.
"Manuel is the best goalkeeper in the world and our captain."
Neuer initially wanted a longer contract and reportedly asked for an annual salary of €20 million (R393 million). However, Bild has reported that although his new salary is an improvement on the €15 million (R295 million) a year he was earning previously, it does not exceed €20 million.
As a consequence, Neuer is currently the third-highest earner at the club, with only Robert Lewandowski and Philippe Coutinho understood to receive more.
Lewandowski signed a new deal worth €20 million a year at the beginning of the season, while on-loan FC Barcelona star Coutinho is said to earn €25 million – you can find Bayern's top nine earners in the gallery above!
