Lewandowski Breaks Bayern Record

Robert Lewandowski has broken a Bayern Munich record after netting a hat-trick against Hamburg on Saturday afternoon.

The Polish strike played a starring role as the Bavarians thumped Hamburg 6-0 at the Allianz Arena as theye edged closer to the Bundesliga title.
In doing so, Lewandowski became the Bavarian's highest scoring foreign player  with 142 goals, beating Brazilian attacker Giovane Elber's record of 140 goals.
Lewandowski, however, reached the 140-goal mark  in 83 games fewer than Elber, who spent six years at Bayern between 1997 and 2003.
