Bayern Munich star Thiago Alcantara has reportedly told his colleagues he wants to join Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool next season.
Sport Bild has reported that the 29-year-old has his heart set on joining the Reds after rejecting a new contract with the German giants.
The Bavarians were believed to be interested in tying the former FC Barcelona midfielder down to a new deal last month, with rumours now suggesting he wants to leave the club, and that his preferred destination is Liverpool.
Thiago joined the Bundesliga champions in 2013 after coming through the Catalan club's famous La Masia academy and making 100 appearances for the Spanish giants' senior side, contributing to 31 goals along the way.
At Bayern, the Spain international has scored 31 goals and assisted a further 37 strikes in 230 appearances so far, winning 14 trophies in the process.
