Reports: Lewandowski Makes Big Transfer Decision

Reports: Robert Lewandowski Makes Big Transfer Decision

By Keegan Kruger - Mar 29, 2018 07:00 PM @KeeganKruger

Bayern Munich superstar Robert Lewandowski has reportedly made a big decision regarding his playing future.

According to Spanish publication AS, the Poland international has asked the Bavarian club to allow Real Madrid to open negotiations over a possible transfer next season.

The 29-year-old apparently wants to move to the European giants in the upcoming window, despite Bayern recently hinting that they will not listen to any offers for their prized asset.

The German club's CEO, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, stated earlier this week that the striker would "100% stay" in the Bundesliga next season, but these words have not chased away any of the player's suitors, let alone the tabloids.

Lewandowski, who has said he is ready for a new adventure on numerous occasions, recently changed agents to help him try to facilitate a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

The German giants are said to be looking for a replacement should the Pole get his desired move, with Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata, RB Leipzig's Timo Werner and Paris Saint-Germain's Edinson Cavani apparently being closely monitored.

Lewandowski has made 37 appearances for the Bavarians so far this season, scoring 32 goals and assisting a further four strikes.
