According to Kicker, new Bayern manager Niko Kovac is looking to downsize his squad ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
It has been claimed the tactician has sanctioned the sales of defenders Jerome Boateng and Juan Bernat, as well as midfield duo Arturo Vidal and Thiago Alcantara.
Another player who has been heavily linked with a move away from the club is striker Robert Lewandowski, but Kovac will apparently try to convince the Polish forward stay with the Bavarians.
Many have speculated that the manager will target young stars in the transfer window and, as a result, Bayern are said to be interested in Borussia Dortmund playmaker Christian Pulisic, who, despite being just 19 years old, has played at an extremely high level over the past two years.
While Boateng is still just 29 years old, the defender has struggled with injuries that has kept him sidelined many times this past season.
Vidal has also struggled with injuries in recent campaigns, while Thiago has failed to stay consistent since his arrival in Germany. Left-back Bernat, 25, played just 12 games in 2017/18 due to fitness issues.
