Official: Bayern Munich's New Manager Revealed
German giants Bayern Munich have officially announced who their new manager will be ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
Following rumours that current boss Jupp Heynckes could stay on as manager at the Bavarians, the club have confirmed who will replace him at the end of the campaign.
Eintracht Frankfurt boss Niko Kovac, a former Bayern player, will take charge of the Bundesliga champions, having agreed a three-year contract.
The Croatian began life as a coach when he took over his national team's U21 side in 2013, before being named his country's senior team boss later that year.
After three years in charge of Croatia, Kovac was appointed as Frankfurt's boss in March 2016, where he has been since.
Kovac played 51 times for Bayern as a player, and spent most of his long career in the Bundesliga.
