With Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund neck-and-neck in the Bundesliga title race, BVB skipper Marco Reus has commented on the possibility of ending the Bavarian giants' six-year stranglehold of the German top-flight trophy.
Bayern and Dortmund are currently joint top of the Bundesliga table, with 57 points amassed from their allotted 25 games.
With nine games left to be played in the 2018/19 campaign, Reus believes "a lot can still happen" in the title race.
"We are level on points and Bayern have the better goal difference, but we still have nine games to play and a lot can happen in that time," he told the Bundesliga's official website.
"We have to be ready and focus on our own game, and then we will see what comes of it at the end of the season."
Dortmund will do duty against Hertha Berlin in their next league encounter on Saturday, 16 March, while defending champions Bayern play host to Mainz on Sunday.
The derby between Bayern and Dortmund, known as Der Klassiker, will take place in Munich on 6 April.
