Bayern Munich playmaker James Rodriguez, who is on loan at the German club from Real Madrid, has revealed where he would like to play his football after his current deal with the Bundesliga giants expires.
The 26-year-old, who joined the Bavarian side on a two-year loan deal in July 2017, has produced a few world-class performances in recent months, and could join the club permanently for €42 million (R525 million) at the end of next season.
After Bayern's 3-1 win over Cologne on Saturday, the Colombia international was asked what his plans for the future were, and whether or not he is thinking about returning to the Santiago Bernabeu.
"I'm doing very well," Rodriguez said, as quoted by ESPN.
"It's a good league in Germany, and the stadiums are packed. I arrived with a different perception.
"I'm feeling good. I hope that I will stay here. I'm very happy."
