Colombia superstar James Rodriguez, who is currently on loan at Bayern Munich, has addressed rumours linking him with a possible return to parent club Real Madrid ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.

Some reports have suggested that the 27-year-old, who is halfway through a two-year loan spell with the Bavarian giants, could be recalled by Los Blancos following Cristiano Ronaldo's mega-money move to Serie A champions Juventus.

However, Rodriguez, who had a good first season with Bayern, has since dismissed rumours suggesting he may cut his spell in the Bundesliga short.

"So far, I am still here (Bayern), and I have had a spectacular first season, so I am very happy there," James said on Colombian TV show The Suso's Show.

"I feel like the club, and the fans love me very much."

The Colombian made 39 appearances for Bayern last season, scoring eight goals and assisting a further 14 strikes.

Although I love Madrid I think James must just remain at Bayern or join CR7 or Neymar. Madrid have favorites and don't respect some players more especially foreigners
