Borussia Dortmund sensation Jadon Sancho has broken a Bundesliga record that stood for 50 years before it was bettered by Bayer Leverkusen's Kai Havertz earlier this year.

With the 20-year-old scoring his first career hat-trick in his side's 6-1 thrashing of Paderborn on Sunday, the treble took his total Bundesliga tally to 30 goals, which saw him break a certain record held by Havertz.
Sancho was 20 years and 67 days on Sunday, while the Leverkusen starlet was 20 years and 270 days when he scored his 30th Bundesliga goal against Eintracht Frankfurt on 7 March.

Before Havertz, Klaus Fischer was the youngest player to reach the 30-goal mark in Bundesliga history. The Schalke 04 legend was 20 years and 284 days on the day he netted his 30th goal in the German top flight.
Other players, such as Bayern Munich legends Gerd Muller and Uli Hoeness, as well as RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner, also feature among the youngest Bundesliga stars to reach 30 goals – you can find the top eight in the gallery above!

Sancho, meanwhile, is experiencing a stellar campaign. The England international has scored 20 goals and assisted another 20 strikes in 39 games across all competitions for BVB so far this season.
