Bayern Munich head coach Hansi Flick believes Robert Lewandowski will beat Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi to The Best FIFA Men's Player award this year.
Flick believes the Polish striker is the player who "truly deserves" the award, especially as he seemed to be the clear favourite for the Ballon d'Or before France Football decided not to hand that accolade out this year.
Lewandowski has been nominated for the individual prize alongside Juventus' Ronaldo and FC Barcelona's Messi, and recently celebrated scoring his 250th Bundesliga goal, becoming only the third player in the league's history to do so.

The forward has also smashed in 15 goals in just 11 league games so far this season, and Flick believes he can win the main prize.
"Lewy is, on one side, very important on the pitch, but also he is in the inner circle of the squad," Flick said after Bayern's 2-1 victory over Wolfsburg, during which Lewandowski scored both goals, on Wednesday.
"(He) is, of course, a very important player who's point of view truly counts.
"Therefore, we are all looking ahead. So that Manuel (Neuer, who is up for the best goalkeeper prize) as well as Lewy will win their awards. Both players truly deserve it."
