Hoffenheim Destroy FC Koln

The Saturday afternoon matches in the German Bundesliga saw Hoffenheim destroy KC Koln while Schalke remain in second place.

Bayer Leverkusen 0-0 Augsburg

Bayer Leverkusen and Augsburg played to a goalless draw at the BayArena.

The draw leaves Leverkusen in fifth place on the table while Augsburg are in ninth.

Hannover 2-3 RB Leipzig

RB Leipzing moved up to fourth place on the table with a 3-2 win over Hannover at the HDI-Arena.

Goals from Emil Forsberg, Willi Orban and Yussuf Poulsen handed RB Leipzig their 13th league win while Hannover suffered their eighth defeat of the season.

Hoffenheim 6-0 FC Koln

Hoffenheim produced an emphatic performance in front of their home crowd with an impressive 6-0 thumping of FC Koln at the Wirsol Rhein-Neckar Arena.

Braces from Serge Gnabry (a brace) and Mark Uth (a brace), as well as goals from Lukas Rupp and Steven Zuber, handed Hoffenheim their 11th win of the season while the loss for FC Koln leaves them rooted in the relegation zone.

Schalke 2-0 Freiburg

Second-half goals from Alexander Schwolow and Guido Burgstaller handed Schalke a 2-0 win over a 10-man Freiburg side at the Veltins Arena.

The win leaves Schalke in second place on the table while Freiburg are just above the relegation zone in 14th place.

Nils Petersen was the Freiburg player to see red after a second yellow card in the 66th minute.

Stuttgart 1-1 Hamburg SV

Stuttgart and Hamburg SV played to a 1-1 draw at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.

Lewis Holtby opened the scoring for Hamburger in the 18th minute before Daniel Ginczek equalised in the 44th minute.

The loss sees Hamburger remain rooted to the bottom of the table while Stuttgart are in eighth place.
