Stuttgart Dent Leverkusen's UCL Hopes

Bayer Leverkusen's top-four hopes took a dent after they lost to Stuttgart, while Hamburg boosted their survival hopes in Saturday's Bundesliga action.

Bayer Leverkusen 0-1 Stuttgart

Bayer's hopes of qualifying for next season's UEFA Champions League took a knock after they lost 1-0 to Stuttgart at the BayArena on Saturday evening.

The game's only goal arrived after 67 minutes thanks to a strike from Christian Gentner after Leverkusen's Lucas Alario failed to convert a penalty in the 17th minute.

Leverkusen now find themselves in fifth position, one point behind fourth place Hoffenheim.

Schalke 1-1 Borussia Monchengladbach

Daniel Caligiuri canceled out Raffael's early strike as Schalke and Borussia Monchengladbach drew 1-1 on Saturday afternoon.

Hertha Berlin 2-2 Augsburg

Herth Berlin came from back from two goals down to secure a 2-2 draw with Augsburg.
The visitors raced into a two-goal lead thanks to strikes from Michael Gregoritsch and Sergio Córdova.
Hertha hit back in the final six minutes through Vedad Ibiševic and Davie Selke.
Freiburg 3-2 Koln
A brace from Nils Petersen and a late strike from Lucas Höler guided Freiburg to a 3-2 win over Koln.
Leonardo Bittencourt contributed with a brace for the visitors.
Wolfsburg 1-3 Hamburg
Hamburg boosted their survival hopes with a 3-1 win over Wolfsburg at the Volkswagen Arena.
Goals from Bobby Wood, Lewis Holtby and Luca Waldschmidt sealed victory for the visitors.
