Werder Bremen 3-1 Wolfsburg
Florian Kainz netted a brace to inspire Werder Bremen to a 3-1 victory over Wolfsburg on Sunday evening.
Ludwig Augustinsson opened the scoring in the fourth minute before Kainz made it 2-0 five minutes before the break.
Paul Verhaegh pulled a goal back for Wolfsburg four minutes after the break, only for Kainz to make it 3-1 18 minutes before time and seal the match.
Bremen currently lie 15th on the log with 23 points from 22 games.
Wolfsburg, meanwhile, are placed 13th on the table with 24 points from 22 games. They host Bayern Munich next week Saturday.
Stuttgart 1-0 Borussia Monchengladbach
Daniel Ginczek scored the only goal of the match for Stuttgart who edged Borussia Monchengladbach 1-0 on Sunday afternoon.
Ginczek found the opener in the fifth minute and his strike proved to be the winner.
Stuttgart are positioned 14th on the log with 24 points from 22 games, while Monchengladbach are placed 10th with 31 points from 22 matches.
