Michy Batshuayi inspired Borussia Dortmund to an impressive win in the German Bundesliga on Sunday while Frankfurt and Hoffenheim played to a draw.
Dortmund 3-0 Stuttgart
Dortmund kept the pressure on second-placed Schalke with a 3-0 thumping of Stuttgart at Signal Iduna Park.
Christian Pulisic opened the scoring for Dortmund in the 38th minute before Michy Batshuayi doubled their lead three minutes into the second half.
The icing on the cake for Dortmund was their third goal on the hour mark courtesy of a strike from Maximilian Philipp, which sees them maintain third place on the table, a point behind Schalke while Stuttgart occupy ninth place.
Eintracht Frankfurt 1-1 Hoffenheim
Neither side could progress further up the league table as Eintracht Frankfurt and Hoffenheim played to a 1-1 draw at Commerzbank-Arena.
Luka Jovic opened the scoring for Frankfurt in the 49th minute, but his goal was canceled out by Serge Gnabry seven minutes later.
The result sees Frankfurt in fourth place on the table while Hoffenheim remain in seventh.
