Daniel Didari netted a brace to lead Wolfsburg to a 2-0 win over Freiburg on Saturday afternoon.
Didari gave Wolfsburg a good start by scoring in the second minute and sealed the result seven minutes before time.
Nils Petersen could have scored a consolation goal for Freiburg in stoppage time but missed a penalty.
FC Köln 1-1 Mainz
Pablo De Blasis salvaged a 1-1 draw for ten-man Mainz against FC Koln on Saturday afternoon.
Jonas Hector opened the scoring for Cologne in the seventh minute and De Blasis levelled matters five minutes after the break.
Guilio Donati was sent off for Mainz in added time as he got his second yellow card.
Borussia Monchengladbach 2-1 Hertha Berlin
Thorgan Hazard scored a brace to help Borussia Monchengladbach beat Hertha Berlin 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.
Salomon Kalou broke the deadlock for Hertha Berlin five minutes before the break but Hazard got the equaliser 15 minutes before time before scoring the winner four minutes later to complete his brace.
Hamburg 3-2 Schalke
Aaron Hunt netted six minutes before time to seal a 3-2 victory for Hamburg over Schalke on Saturday afternoon.
Naldo opened the scoring for Schalke in the ninth minute before Filip Kostic found equaliser for Hamburg in the 17th minute.
Lewis Holtby sent the hosts ahead seven minutes after the break but only for Guido Burgstaller to bring parity for the visitors.
Hamburg had the final say as Hunt netted the winner for Hamburg six minutes before time.
