An African star registered a goal and an assist to inspire RB Leipzig to a 2-1 win over Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich on Sunday evening.
The hosts got off to the perfect start as they took the lead on 12 minutes when James Rodriguez's cross found Sadro Wanger, who headed home from close range.
Leipzig nearly restored parity on 27 minutes but goalkeeper Sven Ulreich produced a superb stop to keep out Bruma's free-kick.
The home side did manage to level matters 10 minutes later thanks to a strike from Liverpool-bound Guinean midfielder Naby Keita.
Leipzig carved out another opening before the break when Kampl curled a free-kick over the wall, but it sailed inches over the crossbar.
Ten minutes into the second half, Leipzig took the lead as Keita turned provider to pick out Timo Werner, who calmly slotted into the bottom corner.
Jupp Heynckes responded by introducing Franck Ribery for Juan Bernat after 62 minutes.
With 15 minutes remaining, Robert Lewandowski was finally introduced, taking the place of Rodriguez.
The Bavarians threw numbers forward in search of an equlsier in the latter stages of the half.
However, Leipzig remained resolute in the closing stages to seal an important win on home soil.
