Another impressive display from Bayern Munich saw them edge closer to the German Bundesliga title after beating Freiburg 4-0 at the Schwarzwald-Stadion on Sunday.
The home side started positively, with Lucas Holer breaking into the Bayern box in the 12th minute, but he was superbly denied in a one-on-one with goalkeeper Sven Ulreich.
Bayern took control of the game after that and made their pressure tell in the 25th minute when Alexander Schwolow turned the ball into his own net after a wicked deflection to give the away side the lead, 1-0.
Three minutes later Bayern doubled their lead thanks to a thunderous long-range shot from Corentin Tolisso, which found the corner of the net, 2-0.
It was nearly three in the 40th minute when Thomas Muller met a cross into the box, but his header was magnificently saved by the Freiburg keeper.
The half ended 2-0 in favour of Bayern.
Ten minutes into the second half Bayern did find their third goal when Sandro Wagner tapped home from close range following a goalmouth scramble inside the Freiburg box, 3-0.
Bayern made it 4-0 in the 69th minute when Thomas Muller volleyed the ball into the back of the net from a corner-kick.
Bayern took their foot off the pedal after that and cruised to a comfortable win.
