Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich showed Borussia Dortmund no mercy as they recorded a 6-0 win on Saturday evening, with Robert Lewandowski netting a hat-trick.
Bayern took the lead five minutes into the first half as Lewandowski latched onto a pass from Thomas Muller before easily slotting past Roman Burki.
In the 14th minute, Bayern doubled their lead as James Rodriguez collected a cross from David Alaba before stabbing the ball home under Burki.
It was 3-0 in the 23rd minute as Rodriguez turned provider to pick out an un-marked Muller, who volleyed past Burki from close range.
The Bundesliga leaders did not take the foot off the pedal as they bagged a fourth goal a minute before the break as Lewandowski registered his second on the night.
There was enough time for Bayern to make it 5-0 before half-time, with Rodriguez setting up Ribery for his second goal of the game.
The second stanza continued in the same fashion as the first as Bayern dominated the possession, leaving Dortmund frustrated.
The visitors did go close to pulling a goal back in the 67th minute when Mario Gotze rattled the upright from close range.
Jupp Heynckes threw on the likes of Sebastian Rudy and Thiago Alcantara, while Dortmund introduced Nuri Sahin for the closing stages.
Lewandowski completed his hat-trick with three minutes remaining with a close range finish past Burki, 6-0.
