Bayern unveiled their new adidas kit on Monday evening, while Dortmund's new PUMA home jersey was introduced on Friday.
"The team continues to play their games in the Allianz Arena in iconic red, but with a revised design," an official press statement regarding the Bavarians' new home kit read.
"The striking diamonds, known from the club crest, draw in different shades of red across the entire chest, the sleeves and the collar of the jersey. They are arranged in M-form – a homage to the slogan of the association, 'Mia san mia'. A V-neck and navy blue accents on the sleeves complete the new look."
The German champions will wear their new home kit for the first time in their final home game of the 2017/18 season against VFB Stuttgart on 12 May.
Meanwhile, Dortmund have already worn their new home strip, in their 2-1 home defeat to Mainz on Saturday.
"'The Pulse of Dortmund' – this is the motto under which PUMA is teaming up with Borussia Dortmund today to present the new home shirt for the coming season," a media release from PUMA explained.
"BVB sets the pulse of this city's heart like nothing else – whether it's a matchday or not. With the design for the new shirt, PUMA is honouring the special connection BVB maintains with the city and its fans, who are unparalleled in their devotion."
