Soccer Laduma spoke exclusively to Cristiano Ronaldo's former teammate Emre Can, who revealed his first-hand observations as to why the Juventus superstar is so successful.
The Germany international, who joined Borussia Dortmund from the Bianconeri in January, spoke to Soccer Laduma about a wide range of topics, including just how good he thinks Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland really are.
He also discussed playing and training with Ronaldo on a regular basis, saying that the Portugal captain's puts 100% into everything he does.
"He is doing what he has to do every day, and that at 100%," Can said.
"He lives extremely professionally. That is why he is so successful.
"To be so strong mentally and to push yourself, only Ronaldo can do it.
"That is why he is where he is. How he works has also shaped me."
The 26-year-old, who has already played for European giants Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Juventus, also discussed his targets with Dortmund ahead of the Bundesliga's restart on 16 May.
"We are still playing against Bayern and in Leipzig. So, we still have the direct competitors ahead of us," he added.
"We have to win these games, then anything is possible!"
Dortmund will host their bitter rivals Schalke 04 in the Ruhr derby when German football resumes on 16 May.
