Augsburg 1-2 RB Leipzig
RB Leipzig advanced to the DFB Pokal semi-finals after defeating Augsburg 2-1 in extra-time on Tuesday night.
The game's opening goal arrived in the 74th minute, with Timo Werner firing past Gregor Kobel to put Leipzig ahead.
However, Alfred Finnbogason sent the game into extra-time after netting an equaliser in the fourth minute of second-half stoppage time.
Leipzig came out on top in extra-time, with Marcel Halstenberg netting the winning goal with virtually the last kick of extra-time.
Paderborn 0-2 Hamburg
Hamburg continued their run in the DFB Pokal with a 2-0 win over fellow Second tier outfit Paderborn on Tuesday evening.
Paderborn advanced progressed to the last eight after overcoming MSV Duisburg, while Hamburg eliminated Nurberg.
After a scoreless opening 45 minutes, it was left to striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga to net a brace with strikes in the 54th and 68th minute.
