Dortmund Cut Bayern's Lead To One Point

Borussia Dortmund 2-1 Stuttgart

Borussia Dortmund moved to within one point of Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich after securing a 2-1 win over Stuttgart at Signal Iduna Park.

Donyell Malen, playing in place of the injured Erling Haaland, broke the deadlock for Dortmund just before the hour-mark but Roberto Massimo levelled matters for Stuttgart seven minutes later.

Dortmund captain Marco Reus had the final say after snatching the winner five minutes from time to send Dortmund one point behind the champions.

Hoffenheim 2-0 RB Leipzig

RB Leipzig suffered their fourth defeat after a shock 2-0 loss to Hoffenheim at PreZero Arena on Saturday.

Diadie Samassekou opened the scoring for Hoffenheim in the 12th minute and Mu'nas Dabbur sealed the three points with the second goal 22 minutes before time.

Bayer Leverkusen 1-0 Bochum

Bayer Leverkusen climbed up to fourth on the table after a narrow 1-0 win over Bochum at BayArena.

Amine Adli got the opener for Bayer as early as the third minute and that was enough to hand them the maximum points.

Borussia Monchengladbach 4-0 Greuther Furth

Borussia Monchengladbach moved up to eighth on the log after drubbing Greuther Furth 4-0 courtesy of a brace by Jonas Hofmann at Borussia-Park.

Hofmann got an early opener, while Florian Neuhaus and Alassane Plea added two further goals before half-time and Hofmann completed his brace just before the hour-mark.

Arminia Bielefeld 2-2 Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg's two-game winning run came to an end after they came back from two goals down to rescue a draw against Arminia Bielefeld at Schuco Arena.

Masaya Okugawa and Fabian Klos gave Arminia a two-goal lead with goals in either half but Wout Weghorst and Lukas Nmecha scored two quick goals within a minute just after the hour-mark to rescue a point for the Wolves.

Union Berlin 2-0 Hertha Berlin

Union Berlin moved up to fifth on the log after a 2-0 victory over Hertha Berlin at Stadion An der Alten Forsterei.

Taiwo Awoniyi and Christopher Trimmel gave Union a two-goal cushion in the first half-an-hour.

Peter Pekarik thought he had pulled a goal back for Hertha on the stroke of half-time but his goal was disallowed by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) for offside.
