Greuther Furth 1-3 Borussia Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund defeated Greuther Furth 3-1 in a match both sides had very little to play for on Saturday afternoon.
Dortmund have missed out on the title, while Furth have already been relegated. Dortmund had lost their last two games, while Furth impressively held Union Berlin to a 1-1 draw last time out.
Julian Brandt opened the scoring for Dortmund in the 26th minute. The game opened up only late in the second half when Jessic Ngankam equalised for Furth in the 70th minute.
However, Dortmund quelled any hopes of a fightback with Julian Brandt grabbing his brace and Felix Passlack wrapping up the win in the 77th minute.
SC Freiburg 1-4 Union Berlin
SC Freiburg missed the chance to secure UEFA Champions League qualification after being hammered 4-1 by Union Berlin.
Union surged into a 3-0 lead before half-time with goals from Grischa Promel, Christopher Trimmel and Sheraldo Becker. Lucas Holer pulled a goal back for Bayer in the 59th minute but Andras Schafer made the result even more comfortable with a 89th-minute strike.
Freiburg will be hoping RB Leipzig slip up on Sunday evening. If Leipzig do win, they will move two points above Freiburg into fourth position - the final Champions League spot - having played the same number of games.
Meanwhile, Union moved above Koln into sixth position and are just a point behind Freiburg with the race for top four still very much wide open.
Hoffenheim 2-4 Bayer Leverkusen
Bayer Leverkusen secured qualification for the UEFA Champions League with a 4-2 victory over Hoffenheim.
It is a third victory in a row for Bayer, while Hoffenheim have picked up just three points from their last eight games - winning none of them.
Hoffenheim took the initiative with Georginio Rutter netting in the 22nd minute. Patrik Schick equalised in the 34th minute before Christoph Baumgartner restored Hoffenheim's lead two minutes later.
However, Leverkusen roared back into the contest with goals from Moussa Diaby, Lucas Alario and Schick, who grabbed his brace.
Koln 0-1 Wolfsburg
Koln missed a chance to secure qualification for the Europa League with a 1-0 win over Wolfsburg on Saturday afternoon.
Despite having over 60 percent of the possession and 18 shots to Wolfsburg's five, it was Wolfsburg who came away with the three points thanks to Yannick Gerhardt's 43rd-minute strike.
It ends a four-match winning streak for Koln, who are still in seventh position, while Wolfsburg are in 12th position after a more than below-par campaign.
Hertha Berlin 1-2 Mainz
Mainz registered back-to-back wins in the Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory away to Hertha Berlin on Saturday evening.
Silvan Dominic put the visitors ahead on 25 minutes, before Davie Selke restored parity for Hertha from the penalty spot in first-half stoppage time.
Mainz would have the final say as Stefa Bell bagged the winning goal with minutes left on the clock.
