It is believed that Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are lining up a move for one of Arsenal's longest-serving stars, who could leave the London club for free next year.
According to the Metro, the Bavarians are interested in signing Arsenal and Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey, who could become a free agent at the end of the current campaign.
It was recently reported that the Gunners have no intention of offering the player a new deal in London, although there is still a long way to go until June 2019.
With Ramsey's contract expiring at season's end, it is believed that only clubs outside of England can approach the 27-year-old in January, while teams in the country are only allowed to talk to him come the end of his deal, as per the Metro.
The midfielder joined Arsenal from Cardiff City seven years ago, and has gone on to represent the club on 345 occasions to date.
Injuries have seen Ramsey's career not quite take off as it once appeared it would, although he has won six trophies since his arrival in London in 2011.
