Bayern Munich's stuttering form in the Bundesliga continued after falling to a 2-1 loss at Borusia Monchengladbach on Saturday afternoon.
It started well for the Bavarias, who went ahead through Ivan Perisic' 49th minutes after a scoreless first half.
Rami Bensebaini brought the home side back on level terms on the hour mark, before he completed his brace to secure the winning goal in second-half stoppage time.
As a result, Bayern have dropped to sixth spot in the standings while Gladbach remain at the summit.
Borussia Dortmund 5-0 Fortuna Dusselfdorf
Borussia Dortmund proved too strong for Fortuna Dusslefdorf after romping to a 5-0 triumph at Signal-Iduna Park on Saturday afternoon.
After a relatively quiet opening, Dortmund got the breakthrough three minutes before the halftime break thanks to Marco Reus' sixth league goal of the season.
The second goal just before the hour mark, with Thorgan Hazard getting his name on the score-sheet after being set-up by Jadon Sancho.
Sancho was not to be denied a goal as Reus turned provider to pick out the England international, who slotted home on 63 minutes.
Reus completed his brace with 20 minutes remaining for Dortmund's fourth goal, while Sancho also got his second to round off the scoring four minutes later.
