Borussia Dortmund’s 16-year-old winger Youssoufa Moukoko made Bundesliga history on Saturday night when he was introduced in the second half against Herth Berlin.
The Cameroon-born winger has been making waves in the Dortmund youth set-up over the past year and he finally got his first team shot.
After turning 16 on Friday, Moukoko was rewarded by playing the final few minutes of Dortmund’s 5-2 thrashing of Hertha Berlin.
As a result, he now holds the record as the youngest player in Bundesliga history, a record that was previously held by former Dortmund youth team product Nuri Sahin.
Haaland, who bagged four goals on the night, had some high praise for the 16-year-old after the his cameo appearance.
"I think he’s the biggest talent in the world right now. 16 years and one day, that’s quite amazing. He has a big career ahead of him," the striker told ESPN.
