With FC Barcelona reportedly open to selling one of their highest-earning players, German giants Bayern Munich have reportedly identified the star as a priority signing.
According to France Football, the Bundesliga champions are interested in signing French winger Ousmane Dembele.
It has been claimed that the club's sporting director, Hasan Salihamidzic, has made contact with the 22-year-old's representatives after it became apparent the Catalan giants are open to selling him in this window.
With Barca said to be after both Antoine Griezmann and Neymar, Dembele could be one of the players they look to sell in order to fund the aforementioned transfers.
While the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner has shown a lot of promise, his injury struggles have seen him spend a lot of time on the sidelines.
Dembele has previously played in the Bundesliga, having spent a single season at Borussia Dortmund, and could be tempted to join many of his French colleagues in Bavaria.
Kingsley Coman, Corentin Tolisso, and new stars Lucas Hernandez and Benjamin Pavard are all France internationals on Bayern's books.
Dembele has scored 18 goals and assisted a further 17 strikes in 65 matches for Barca since joining the club in 2017.
