Bayern Munich coach Hans-Dieter Flick has commented on his side's sextuple triumph, equalling FC Barcelona's incredible record from 2009.
The Bavarians beat Tigres UNAL 1-0 in the final on Thursday night, thanks to a goal by Benjamin Pavard.
That strike secured Bayern the FIFA Club World Cup title and the prestigious sextuple after they had already lifted the Bundesliga, DFB Pokal, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and DFL Super Cup trophies in the past year.
Flick, of course, was over the moon with the success, saying that everyone at the club wanted to achieve this milestone badly.
"Congratulations to my team," he said, as per FIFA.
"They have completed a historical feat, they have won six titles in one season. Even for the successful club that is FC Bayern Munich, this was the most successful season ever.
"The team played outstandingly. The win was never in danger, we dominated and deservedly won the final.
"It was very difficult for me as well, we were all at the limit, the same goes for me at the touchline.
"The match against Tigres was on eye-level, even though we dominated. They deserved to be in this final."
