Aaron Ramsey's contract situation at the Emirates has been a big talking point over the past few weeks, with reports claiming the two parties have not agreed on a new deal.
The news has sparked rumours of a potential move to Liverpool or Jose Mourinho's United at the end of the season.
According to The Independent, Bayern believe they are in pole position to sign the Welshman, who is now set to leave the club on a free transfer.
It has been claimed that there has been a "breakthrough" in talks between Bayern and Ramsey's representatives, and the player is expected to sign a long-term deal starting from the beginning of next season.

Since joining Arsenal as an 18-year-old, Ramsey has gone on to make 347 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 60 goals and assisting a further 61 strikes.
