Many established players across Europe got their starts in Germany and have gone to reach unprecedented success around the globe.
At the moment, there are loads of footballers who are impressing in the country’s most competitive division, such as new England international Jadon Sancho, who is just 18 years old. The former Manchester City youngster made the right decision to leave England to play senior team football, and he seems to have grabbed his opportunity.
In his debut season at the highest level, Sancho has scored twice and assisted eight goals in 11 matches for Borussia Dortmund, where he has recently become a fan favourite.
2017 FIFA U17 World Cup starlet Paulinho is another youngster that many are tipping for a bright future, following his move to Bayer Leverkusen. The young Brazilian has not played a huge role for his club yet, but he moved to the Bundesliga with a massive reputation.
His teammate, Kai Havertz, unsurprisingly features in the gallery. The 19-year-old has been playing for Leverkusen’s first team since 2016 and is already a full international with Loachim Low’s Germany.
Also on the list is RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano, who joined the German club in January 2017. The centre-back is considered to be one of the finest young defenders not only in the country, but in Europe.
Aaron Martin, who is spending the season at Mainz on loan from Espanyol, is another impressive youngster that fans will be excited to watch in 2018/19.
Eintracht Frankfurt talent Luka Jovic is also making waves in the Bundesliga, following his recent five-goal haul against Dusseldorf this past Friday. The 20-year-old is currently on loan from Benfica and is believed to be attracting interest from teams across Europe.
Although he was not on the official list, we have added Hoffenheim loanee Reiss Nelson to the group. The 18-year-old has scored four goals in five matches for the German side since his arrival in August.
