The 29-year-old finished runners-up in the Bundesliga three times since arriving at Dortmund in 2012. Reus is part of a new, exciting young group of Dortmund players, who just smashed newly promoted side Nuremberg 7-0 on Wednesday.
BVB are now just two points behind Bayern Munich, but it remains to be seen whether Lucien Favre’s side can keep up with the Bavarians this season.
Reus’ former teammate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is another high-profile player yet to win a league title. The 2016 African Footballer of the Year has finished runners-up in the Bundesliga with Dortmund before moving to the Gunners in January.
At Arsenal, Aubameyang has scored 14 goals in his 21 appearances for the club, but his new side already sit six points behind Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
But Reus and Aubameyang are not the only world-class players yet to win a league title, as even Antoine Griezmann, who has won the 2018 FIFA World Cup with France and the UEFA Europa League with Atletico Madrid last season, is yet to claim a league medal.
Griezmann joined the Rojiblancos in 2014, the season after they won their last LaLiga title and finished in second place in the 2017/18 campaign.
