Nominees For France Football Ballon d'Or Revealed – Part 1
French publication France Football have released the next batch of nominees for the 2017 Ballon d'Or award, but Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are not yet mentioned. Find out who the first 15 players who have made the shortlist are.

France Football, who handed out the FIFA Ballon d'Or prize in conjunction with FIFA between 2010 and 2015, split up with football's world governing body last year.
The French publication produced the Golden Ball award from 1956 to 2009, and reverted to their old format in 2016.
Ronaldo won the award last year – his fourth overall – and is expected to lift the trophy again.
France Football will release the 30 nominees (in no particular order) for this year's edition during the course of Monday, and revealed the first five names at 9:00 am, before adding the next five at 12:00 pm and another five at 2:00 pm.
The first 15 names revealed on Monday were:

Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich)
David de Gea (Manchester United)
Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur)
Edin Dzeko (AS Roma)
Note: FIFA's "The Best" award will be announced on 23 November, with Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Neymar being the final three nominees for that accolade.
