As reported by Spanish publication AS, Eto'o will begin a year-long business administration course at the illustrious institution in January as he continues to expand into the business world.

The former Cameroon international recently helped launch a betting company called Beto'o alongside a number of African businessmen, and revealed that he has enrolled in the course in order to prepare himself for the growth of his business ventures.

"When you are a footballer you pay others to take care of your business interests, but once it is up to you to manage them and you want them to grow, you need to acquire new skills," Eto'o told Jeune Afrique magazine.

"Then I will resume my studies to learn business administration. I will go to Harvard University in January. They have been good enough to allow themselves to take a specialised course.

"I will be in Boston for almost a year and it will not be easy, but it will open many doors for me. My betting company belongs to a group of young Africans who asked me to join them.

"I agreed to let them use my image after months of conversations, now I was moved by their faith in Africa. They convinced me that, together, we can improve people's daily lives."
