On Saturday, Salah took to the field for the 100th time in the Premier League, and marked the occasion in typical fashion with a goal and an assist in Liverpool's comprehensive win over the Cherries.

Upon finding the back of the net, the Egypt international took his overall league tally to 63 goals, which, according to Opta Sports, is the fourth-most by any player after 100 EPL matches, behind only Alan Shearer (79), Ruud van Nistelrooy (68) and Sergio Aguero (64).

Salah's strike also saw him overtake former Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure to become the fifth-highest African goalscorer in the league's history, trailing teammate Sadio Mane (75), Yakubu Aiyegbeni (95), Emmanuel Adebayor (97) and Didier Drogba (104).

The two-time Premier League Golden Boot winner's assist for Naby Keita's goal against Bournemouth also saw him climb in the league's creative charts, and he has now set up the joint-10th-most goals by players from the African continent, with 23 assists to his name.

In addition, Salah has now scored 81 goals in 124 appearances for Liverpool across all competitions, equalling club legend Fernando Torres' tally in 18 fewer appearances.
