Romelu Lukaku and Eden Hazard bagged two goals each as Belgium thrashed Tunisia 5-2 to edge closer to a spot in the last 16 at the 2018 World Cup.
Five minutes into the game, Belgium were awarded a penalty when Hazard was brought down, before the Chelsea striker stepped up and calmly slotted home the spot-kick.
Lukaku doubled the lead for the Red Devils in the 16th minute with a low strike after going through on the left side of the box, 2-0.
However, Dylan Bronn pulled a goal back for Tunisia two minutes later with a towering header inside the box following free-kick from Wahbi Kazri.
The Carthage Eagles were resisting better after half-an-hour, compared to the porous defending of the first quarter of the game, although they struggled to carve out any real chances.
Lukaku made it 3-1 for the Red Devils and got his brace on the stroke of halftime after going through inside the box to chip goalkeeper Ben Mustapha.
Hazard also completed his brace five minutes after the break to make it 4-1 for Belgium, beating the offside trap to round the goalkeeper and slot into an empty net.
Nabil Maaloul’s troops were trying their best to get on the scoresheet with 20 minutes to go but they lacked the quality in the last third.
Michy Batshuayi should have made it 5-1 for the Red Devils 11 minutes before time with a glorious chance inside the box but his strike hit the underside of the crossbar.
Batshuayi finally got his goal for Belgium in the last minute of regulation time by finishing at the far post to make it 5-1 with a sweeping shot.
Wahbi Khazri scored in stoppage time for Tunisia to make 5-2 but the Red Devils were already home and dry.
