Returning Zamalek president Mortada Mansour has broken his silence on the rumours about coach Patrice Carteron leaving the team.
Reports surfaced in Egypt recently suggesting that the Frenchman could step down from his role just a few months after leading the side to the Egyptian Premier League title.
The speculation grew even stronger when Mansour returned to the club this month as the pair had not seen eye to eye previously.
However, Mansour says the White Knights have no plans to part ways with Carteron.
"I have no problems with Carteron, we spoke to him and he said he wishes to stay," he said, as per KingFut.
"We will add two new members to Carteron's staff, an assistant manager and a general manager, we agreed with the coach on that.
"We will provide him names and he gets to choose whoever he sees fit for the positions."
