Yaya Toure Set For Ivory Coast Return
Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure wants to make a return to international football with Ivory Coast, according to the player's agent.
Toure retired from international football in 2016 to concentrate on his club career. However, the Ivorian has struggled for regular game time under Pep Guardiola in the past two seasons, having featured only three times in the league in 2017/18 so far
Toure's agent, Dimitry Seluk, has now confirmed that his client wants to make a return to the Elephants' set-up.
The City midfielder has made 97 appearances for Ivory Coast since making his senior international debut in 2004, according to Transfermarkt, and captained his nation team to Africa Cup of Nations glory in 2015.
