Fines were handed out to both sides following Al Ahly's thrashing of Zamalek on Friday, which put the Red Devils at the top of the Egyptian Premier League table.
While the game went by rather smoothly given the importance and intensity of the rivalry between the two Cairo-based clubs, the EFA has now punished both teams for a few minor instances, according to KingFut.
Al Ahly have received a fine of EGP50 000 (R47 000) after the coaching staff entered the field of play while celebrating certain goals during the clash.
