The Red Devils have failed to register a win in their past three outings in the Egyptian Premier League, with their 1-1 draw against Ceramica Cleopatra this past weekend being their most recent disappointment.
Mosimane has come under fire from all angles amid his team's underwhelming run, with ex-Al Ahly star Ahmed Koshary becoming the latest to have a dig at the South African.
Do you think Erik ten Hag be a success at Manchester United?
Koshary, who played for the Egyptian giants between 1995 and 1999, feels Mosimane is selecting certain players he believes should not even be at the club.
"I didn't understand the way Mosimane played against Ceramica Cleopatra," he said, according to KingFut.
"It's obvious, the players are suffering on the physical level, we are seeing injuries every game.
"The players are not showing team spirit, which is something we are not used to at Al Ahly.
"Some starting XI players don't even deserve to be at the club. Right now, we look like a small club.

"We can't just rely on long balls, more focus should be given to attack build-up."
Al Ahly are currently eight points behind first-placed Zamalek in the league standing, though last season's CAF Champions League winners do have three games in hand.
