Former Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic has returned to his former team after parting ways with Zambia this month.
The Zambian FA and Sredojevic decided to part ways earlier this month after the national side failed to progress beyond the group stages at the COSAFA Cup.
However, the Serbian has wasted no time in finding a new job after re-joining the Ugandan national team.
"Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) hereby announces that Mr. Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has been appointed Head coach of the Uganda Cranes on a three-year renewable contract effective 1st August 2021," read a statement from FUFA.
"The Head coach has a contractual mandate to name his backroom staff. Mr. Milutin Sredojevic will address the media on Tuesday 3rd August 2021."
Micho's first task will be the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in September wheere they take on Kenya and Mali.
