Tino Kadewere's transfer from AC Le Havre to Olympique Lyon was announced in January already, but the striker was loaned back to the Ligue 2 side for the remainder of the campaign.
However, with the French transfer window having opened on 8 June, the former Djurgardens forward was unveiled by Lyon on Wednesday.
"I like having the ball at my feet, and I'm pretty quick with it," Kadewere said at his unveiling, as quoted by Lyon's official Twitter account.
"I like to be useful and help my teammates. My performances in training will give me the opportunity to play in matches.
"I'm right-footed but I've scored more with my left. Everyone has a stronger side but I think footballers should be able to play with both feet."
The 24-year-old scored 20 goals in 24 appearances in Ligue 2 before the campaign was cancelled, and joined the Ligue 1 side in a deal worth €12 million (R227 million), plus another €2 million (R38 million) in performance-based add-ons.
Kadewere, who was voted Ligue 2 Player of the Year in 2019, has put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half year contract with Lyon.
Kadewere has represented Zimbabwe on eight occasions so far, scoring two goals in the process.
