Former Premier League star Mido has hit out at FIFA for scheduling the Club World Cup at the same time as the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Africa Cup of Nations ends on 6 February, while the world football governing body confirmed don Monday that the Club World Cup will begin on 3 February.
Al Ahly, who will compete at the Club World Cup, have already launched a complaint as they have a number players who are set to be called up for the Egypt national side for Afcon.
Former Egypt and Tottenham Hotspur striker Mido has lashed out at FIFA re-scheduling the Club World Cup to February next year.
"Holding the FIFA Club World Cup to coincide with the African Nations Cup is disrespectful from the International Confederation of African Football..
"Can the International Federation hold the tournament at the same time as the European Nations Cup or at the same time as Copa America? of course not!!'
Pitso Mosimane's charges will enter the Club World Cup at the second round and will take on Al Jazira or Auckland City.
