After Liverpool star Sadio Mane walked away with his first-ever CAF Footballer of the Year award, the voting results for the prestigious trophy have now been revealed.
On Tuesday, Senegal's Mane was crowned Africa's best player after beating off competition from Algeria and Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez and Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah, who hails from Egypt.
Africa's football governing body, CAF, have since revealed the voting results for the award, which indicate that the Senegal international won by a landslide.

In the final results, Mane earned 477 votings points, which is more than 150 more than second-placed Salah who received 325 votes. Mahrez ranked third with 267 points to his name.
The voting process comprised of two stages, the first of which included votes from a panel of legends, tech and media experts, and the second from the head coach and captain of each African federation.
Unsurprisingly, each of the nominees' respective nations voted for their candidate, while South Africa's Molefi Ntseki and Thulani Hlatshwayo both voted for Mane, according to CAF.
